How far in advance should I start?
Give yourself two weekends. A 300-page pattern is about 5–6 hours of folding once you find your rhythm — comfortable across a few evenings, stressful the night before the wedding.
What book works best for a wedding pattern?
A hardcover with 300+ pages and cream (not glossy) paper. Meaningful beats pretty: the couple's favorite novel, folded, will outlast almost anything else you could give. Check our guide to choosing the right book.
Can I fold both names?
Text patterns work best up to about 8 letters — 'MR & MRS' fits, two full names usually don't. For longer names, fold each name into its own book, or upload an image with both names in a simple bold font.
